Our founder, Alexa, grew up knowing mountains the way most people know their own street. What she never understood was why ski wear had been left behind. Waistbands that dug in. Pants that were bulky in the boot. Layers you couldn't wear off the mountain. She was either dressed for skiing or dressed for everything else, never both. Meanwhile, skiing itself is explosive and physical, nothing like the dated gear it demanded she wear.

So she improvised with leggings and activewear under her outerwear, because at least those moved the way her body did. Comfortable, but cold. A workaround for a problem gear should have already solved. The same frustration, every season. The same thought... someone should fix this.

Eventually, she stopped waiting for someone else to. Slope Set exists because the gear never caught up to the athlete. Now it has.
